Join Lindsey Tramuta, an American journalist and author living in Paris for almost 20 years, as she takes us on a two-day MICHELIN Guide itinerary. Discover the city through its bistro revival as she eats in four must-try restaurants putting a fresh twist on the classics, and explores hidden house-museums, a hotel with a dazzling private spa and bar, a spot redefining cocktail culture in Paris and one of Paris’ oldest chocolate brands.

Day 1: We start on the Left Bank with coffee in a lesser-known Saint-Germain-des-Prés café, followed by lunch at 1930s bistro Allard, a peek inside an artist atelier museum, high-craft cocktails, and dinner at alluring Colvert before crossing the Seine to the Marais to retire to an intimate Proust-inspired hotel.

Day 2: The day begins with a hearty breakfast in bed and a stint at the hotel spa, then lunch at the hard-to-book Dandelion in the village-like 20th district, a visit to the quirky Hunting and Nature Museum back in the Marais, before we end our journey at 19 Saint-Roch, where the chef is putting his own spin on classic French dishes.

Follow along as we explore Paris’ evolving bistro scene and offbeat gems, giving a truly authentic, local view of the City of Light.

  1. Imagine my delight when I clicked on this YouTube-suggested video and saw that Lindsey Tramuta was our guide! She's as delightful, well-informed and funny as ever! Check out her work – most of which is NOT on this particular YouTube channel, but is widely available. BTW, she's also an author and her books are wonderful.

  2. Shaky camera work and abrupt edit cuts are totally unnecessary and dont add anything to the subject matter.
Michelin Guide can do better than this!

  3. I am headed to Paris next year, and I was looking for some great places to eat, to try some new locations, to stretch my legs, and thank you for your very informative video
