This channel is one of my favourite finds, I feel the pain when Tom finds an "arse" wine…great entertainment. Also, I stood in M&S watching the BBQ / Red Wine pairing video today to select the Chianti Classico for Christmas (plus a few others).

Hi Tom, found your YT channel while doing a search for a decent wine for Xmas and found it very entertaining and love the lack of snobbishness which is usually par for the course with the "experts". A question for you, last Xmas we bought a bottle of Moscato Rose from the Asconi Winery from the Republic of Moldova in our local Morrisons supermarket. I know virtually nought about wines other than I like it or dislike it, We had the Moscato Rose at Xmas and it was absolutely lovely. When we next visited Morrisons there was none left neither at ours or any other Morrisons. I googled it and the only reference to it I found led back to Morrisons of which none was available and the staff member didn't know whether they were getting any more or not. Over the last year I have tried to find this wine unsuccessfully. My question is, if you know this wine could you recommend a similar tasting Rose, or should we just buy the Cote Des Roses or the Roseblood d'Estoublon which you reviewed in an earlier video. Thanks in advance and any advice gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for this 🙂 I rarely get time to shop so could order these bad boys online. Hopefully we have the same taste buds, you’ve been right up to now. I do have a Wanderlust subscription which is nice! But need “municipal” wine to fill the gaps. Can’t afford £20 bottles too often!
