We love a good hearty dinner, and cabbage rolls are no exception 😍 these cabbage leaves are stuffed with rice and ground meat for the ultimate comforting meal – we love to make this year round, served alongside some potatoes 🥔 aaand we like it with a dollop of sour cream too, although not traditional in some places, we find it the perfect accompaniment!

  1. So many cultures have this dish its so cute our similarities we all love cabbage. We eat holubtsi.

  2. As a former Soviet, the lack of a tomato based sauce is REALLY freaking me out,I was whisper screaming WAIT DON'T IT'S NOT DONE the moment she picked it up to put in the oven 😂😂😂😂

  3. You need to fry the onion with some paprika in some before and put some tomato souce mixed with that water and some thyme 😊

  4. Everyone’s like “my grandma made this with 15 more steps that took 10 more hours!” Like dude. Different times. This girl is probably working, and in school like most women. Let her cook.

  5. Ground turkey is very dry. You could’ve at least added more different seasonings salt and pepper is not the only seasoning but that how u like it 😅

  6. There's a German way of doing this where you boil the cabbage in milk. Im not sure if the milk does anything different.

  7. I love your channel. You encouraged me to start my own cooking channel in Japan 🇯🇵☺️. I also made delicious cabbage rolls last week ❤️

  8. I don't think I've ever seen them cooked without sauce. Very interesting. I've had them from the deep south, the Midwest and a Lebanese version. All were in a tomato based sauce. The Lebanese ones are definitely my fave. My granny is probably going to reach down and slap me from heaven. lol

  9. Looks great.

You can also check the turkish version of this, called lahana sarmasi. I think you would enjoy it too. It has more spices and pepper/tomato paste but it really enriches the flavor. Give it a try!

  10. That's a traditional dish in middle Europe, we used to make that in Christmas days, but we put the cabbage to fermented before, because here the winter is very cold, and the cabbage fermented can stay one year in barrel, And we only take them out of that barrel one by one when we need them, and we use them to prepare this dish, which has a thousand-year tradition here.

  11. God, thank you for healing the land and our minds and hearts and temples. Thank you for everything in moderation. We bind the wiles of the devil and we pray that your faith, hope and love and wisdom, prophecy, abundance, prosperity, happiness, joyfulness, laughter, smiles, peace that surpasses all wisdom and understanding which will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord. God, we bind the wiles of the devil and we pray for your mighty miracles and for righteousness to go forth for eternity in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen 🙏 ❤️❤️❤️🤍🤍🤍🏰🏰🏰🌈🌈🌈🌏🌍🌎🌹🌹🌹
