Perfectly matching our France-themed Advent week, we also managed to get Alexandre Walliman in front of the camera. The charismatic garage winemaker from the Loire, a region shaped by the most quintessentially French of all rivers. Things turn festive for him when a guinea fowl takes center stage on the table, complete with a rich demi-glace and a red wine from the south of France. And it’s not only in Faugères that you’ll find 100% Grenache, Axel Prüfer makes one too! Les Lendemains qui chantent – for a bright future and a beautifully pink roast. Christmas just the way we like it!
For those who prefer something a little lighter with their roast, yet no less fabulous, Alexandre’s L’Ouvrier is also an excellent choice.

Passend zu unser Frankreich-Adventswoche konnten wir auch Alexandre Walliman für die Kamera begeistern. Der charismatische Garagenwinzer stammt von der Loire. Einer Region, geprägt durch den wohl französischsten aller Flüsse. Festlich wird’s bei ihm, wenn ein Perlhuhn in der Mitte des Tisches thront, inklusive kräftiger Demi-Glace und Rotwein aus dem Süden Frankreichs. 100% Grenache gibt’s nicht nur in Faugerès, sondern auch bei Axel Prüfer! Für die unter uns, die es doch ein wenig leichtfüßiger zum Braten wollen, aber keineswegs weniger fabelhaft- man könnte auch zu Alexandre’s L’ouvrier greifen.
