  1. We dined at Le Jules Verne last year for our anniversary. The food, service and ambiance were all absolutely amazing! We have the most wonderful time. As a 'meal' it is expensive, but we viewed it as an 'experience'. If we are ever in Paris again, we would probably do it again.

  2. ❤You two are sitting at the table I sat at last year:) I ate there for my birthday:) I couldn’t stop eating the bread😂😂😂

  3. In a city serving the best food in the world, I would never consider this place. You’re made to feel like if you don’t love it you’re just not refined enough. The money!!! In NO WAY was that worth it! Thanks for reminding me to avoid Michelin star restaurants at all costs.

  4. My husband and I ate at le Jules Verne last year. I totally agree with your review. The food was incredible. The servers were kind and helpful. And of course, the ambiance and views were amazing. I had to keep pinching myself in disbelief that I was eating lunch in the Eiffel Tower!

  5. My husband and I enjoyed a lunch there several years ago. It was our 40th anniversary. The service and food and view were amazing. We even had the pleasure of witnessing a very sweet marriage proposal at the table next to us. With her “yes” the dinning area erupted in congratulations. It was a wonderful day.

  6. Thanks for showing us what we missed. The last time we were in Paris five years ago we decided to go to Jules Verne but it was being remodeled. We retreated to the first floor restaurant and had a marvelous time. It was my birthday so we got a window table overlooking te Seine. Best birthday ever!

  7. I ate in one of the restaurants in the Eiffel Tower a few times…. and I have a funny story of when I went there by myself.

The "hostess" seemed a bit rude to me and she told me they were no seats available and that Id have to wait… so I sat down to wait. So there I was waiting and all of a sudden I see her talking to a couple at a table by the window…and then some guys coming in, carrying a small table and chair. I was wondering …what in the world are they doing?
They moved the couple's table and then placed the table and chair they had and placed it by the window.
Then…to my surprise…the hostess beckoned me over to her and brought me to that table! I was very surprised but very appreciative.

  8. Imo…yes…wear a jacket. I’m surprised Colleen was admitted …she dressed horribly. Have some social etiquette!!!

  9. I've eaten at Jules Verne twice. First with my son on my first visit to Paris in 2003, and second with my wife in 2006. I do not remember it being a Michelin Star restaurant, or being that expensive. Is that rating more recent? It was very good both times, and we had window seats so the views were awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.
