I’m channeling my high school theater days with this thank-you message, to all the wineries who have opened their doors for me in the last 3 years of work on my upcoming docuseries, The Swirled Cup, coming out next year. 2026 is the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting, and America 250. This series celebrates what that tasting, and the enduring French-American friendship, have spawned: an inspiring change in wine, food, farming, community, and sustainability that contribute to our shared “terroir.” The faces and places you see in this little video are a fraction of the amazing pros (friends old and new) who have given their time, locations, and talents – and hospitality, because that’s at the heart of it all – to this project. I am SO grateful for your blind trust(!), and I hope to do you proud. (I promise, even though this video is a musical, the docuseries is not!) A very Happy and delicious Thanksgiving to all!
