I mean, if you come to France or in any country know how to ask gently and know how to say thank you you and please in this language, not saying it it's just rude, and french waiters are really overwhelmed, you're not forced to leave a tip, but don't be rude to waiters. Waiters in every country are not dogs, you're not the only customer.

Bs. I live in France, speak perfect C2 level French, and when you speak with a French waiter, they still insist on showing you their basic B1 level, because they are French and think they speak all languages better than you.
