Beaujolais Nouveau was born out of necessity — after WWII, France faced a wine shortage, so in 1951 producers were allowed to release a young wine early for Christmas. 🍷 Made from Gamay grapes using semi-carbonic maceration, it’s light, fruity, and made to be drunk now, not aged. Basically, it’s France’s most festive excuse to start sipping before the holidays. 🎉
