At the terraced vineyards of Cernobbio Winery in Maslianico, Gigi and Cristina open their doors to two French footballers from Como 1907. Together, they discover the challenges and beauty of heroic viticulture, hand-harvesting grapes on the steep mountainside and learning the art of winemaking—right down to stomping the fruit with footballer’s feet. Between laughter, teamwork, and cultural exchange, the players reflect on their journey from Lyon to Italy, the passion they bring to the pitch, and the hospitality of the Como community. A day of grape harvesting, football, and friendship becomes a toast to tradition, sport, and shared dreams.
