We all heard it before. Drinking a few glasses of red wine each week is healthy, but is it true?
This is a classic medical myth, which stems from an American television show from the 90s. In this show was found that the French eat unhealthy, but live longer. They concluded that this therefore must be explained by their red wine usage… Not a very scientific approach.
Recent research by a danish professor provides a clearer insight in this matter. He found that people which buy red wine, also buy other, more healthy products. As an example, instead of chips they buy olives. Furthermore wine-drinkers are averagely higher educated and live in better neighborhoods.
Al these factors are proven to contribute to longevity. Which probably explains why wine-drinkers live longer. And therefore the only good reason to drink red wine, is because you like to drink it.

The wine aids the microbiome. The microbiome is the foundation of health very scientific.
Ok so is bad for you
Google it. Red wine does have health benefits
I think you’re wrong , it’s proved to have benefits.
Google it and there a lot research on it
All I know is this😂 do with it what you will. My great grandma lived til 98 and lived on her own the whole time with her brain sharp as a whip. She told me her secret was she drank a small glass of red wine each night before bed. 🤦♂️ I miss you Grammy ❤️
Harvard
This is exactly right. Alcohol is basically a poison to your body. That's why it causes a "buzz" – or worse. The people pushing the "wine is healthy" narrative are the wine producers and liquor sellers.
I don’t trust doctors and most of medical professionals cause they wants us to get sick all the time and taking medication, they always deny. Don’t trust them
Look up polyphenols brother
According to the Bible "it's true. 1Timothy 5:20-25
It may not be scientific, but it Biblical.
Drink moderately to pair with food for taste, and enjoy it occasionally. For some reason when I drink a 5 oz glass red wine, my blood pressure is significantly lower, and blood glucose is not changing. French eat unhealthily, their diets suck but they move a lot, walk everyday, everywhere and walk fast to catch my metro, bus. French people barely drive a car, simply the streets are small, crowded and no parking available. That's the only way to save them from getting fat and moving constantly and daily for longevity.
I disagree with you. Wine is good for the heart. Trying to disapprove something while not knowing the answer to something doesn't prove your point. This is foolish talk. My great grandparents lived to their 100 something from drinking wine on occasions with food.
WebMD – a highly reputable website – strongly disagrees with this fellow. Furthermore, even my cardiologist says there's nothing wrong with a FEW glasses of red wine a week (I was shocked). So, take this "someone on the Internet" advice with a HUGE dollop of salt and do more research.
Basically, he's talking nonsense. Goodness alone knows why he's trying to mislead people.
Dude a hater smh
Wrong. Red wine does have a lot of antioxidants. Consumed in moderation IT IS healthy
This man is absolutely right. I am so glad that he raises awareness about that terrible mistake. Back in the 1990s alcohol consumption increased uncontrollably because people got this wrong. Congratulations to him. People should not drink wine because they think it is healthy.
I drink a bottle every night, and I feel great!
I tell people all the time.. it’s follow if you like correlation not causation
Doctor is lying, every time I get flu I'd drink merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon and I'll be fine in a day or two.
Thats why i just drink sodas and juicy from walmart
Also, in the bible Paul writes a letter to Timothy where he tells him to drink a glass of wine a day for his stomach problems. This was probably unfermented wine otherwise known as grape juice. Since a glass of fermented wine would definitely get young Timothy drunk and the bible prescribes always being ‘sober minded’
What are you talking about ?
Bro what are you even saying
Multiple studies say otherwise. 1 glass a day .
😂 if logic was a human
Forget wine ! Most disease is caused by the personality! Someone living in lower frequency creates their illness. Why people worry about all this nonsense is ridiculous, check your attitude daily. Awareness. That’s why it’s easy to reverse disease in meditation. Healthy happy body.
Well Jesus turned water into wine
Thank you
Red wine is full of antioxidants so there you have it!
The research that wine was 'heart healthy' was of course paid for by large wine producers as in another corporate sponsored lie.
French and Italians live longer fact
