In 1942, a German officer walks into a French restaurant and asks for wine.
The waiter brings him a glass. The German tastes it and spits it out:
– What is this? This wine is terrible!
The waiter smiles:
– It’s exactly what the average Frenchman drinks!
– No way! The French drink excellent wines!
– That’s how it was… before you came.
