I've got one question. I'm 23 years old I live in South Africa and I'm currently working in Retail (which isn't for me). I have always loved the idea of working from "home" or just do what I really love. I love wine and I love music. My dad never believed in me being a dj and I've always wanted to prove him wrong. Seems like anything I tell him, he doesn't take seriously and doesn't believe in me. He thinks of me as a kid. Tell me, is it harder to become a Dj? Or is it harder to become a winemaker? I am not letting go of my dreams and I know my life has meaning and a calling other than working for 3k a month at a sloppy retail store which management sucks. Please let me know ❤️

I love good wine ,I love Napa,I love Italian,and French. It mostly depends on how good it is and the cost. I buy a lot more California wines then other because of huge VAT from Europe.
Great documentary! Just a shame that if you come from that particular part of the world, the term "World" only seems to refer to that particular area of the American continent that sits between Canada and Mexico 😂 With that title, I would have prefered a slightly wider scope.

The fact that in most supermarkets the wine section is as big as the fruits and veggies section is hilarious to me. We’re willing to pay so much money for someone to grow wine, why can’t we get excited over farmers growing our food
The most Resveratrol in wines is in grapes grown in cold climates and the best place for this is the Western Slope Of Colorado some of our vineyards are at 7,100 ft. elevation. If you look at the first vineyards in the world after the flood are in the Caucasus mtn. range which is Armenia and Georgia.

Thanking the "Angel up there" should have been a reference to God that created heaven and earth … and grapes. Amazing how many references to wine there are in the Bible, many with a spiritual meaning. However, God created man in His image inter-alia to create and preserve. Whatever you want to add to what wine is, God also wants people to enjoy life (though keeping Him in mind) and so He also gave us grapes to create one of the most wonderful and mysterious drinks here on planet earth.

For one, they all express themselves with a plethora of goofy metaphors far more suited to a local distributor talking to an ignoramus buyer than a serious interaction with those interested in how wine things work. And i wouldn't pay over 6$ a bottle of anything amerikun knowing full well that these clowns are permitte and do add sugar after ferment, etc,,,

I agree,I taste many of them while working on rccl company.
But….are you shure with making new world wines before old world wines. Do you know where from Zinfandel is coming from and what genetics does have. I would never claim things at world level without tasting wines from peninsula Pelješac.
