A simple, easy & rustic French dessert with a custardy soft texture , delicate crispy golden crust & the natural sweetness of apples ; a perfect treat this autumn season so let’s make it-
***CORRECTION: Instead of 1 1/4 cups melted butter in the video, it should be 1/2 cup
✅RECIPE:
3 large eggs
120 g ( 1/2 cup ) brown sugar
125 g ( 1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
180g ( 1 1/2 cups ) all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 medium apples ( any variety, i used Royal Gala ), peeled & sliced thinly or diced
Granulated sugar ( topping )
Powdered sugar ( dusting )
BAKING TIME: 45 – 50 minutes , or until it passed the toothpick test
BAKING TEMPERATURE: 175’C or 350’F
BAKING PAN: 8 inches lined springform pan
OVEN USED: Electric oven, top & bottom heat
