Anya, you seem to have a grand amount of knowledge and expertise, so any general tips for collectors/ investors?
When they name a color after your red wine, it must be good, right??
A video on grapes would slap really hard
I continue to enjoy this series of incredibly interesting, and useful, videos.
P. S. Could you do me a favour, and turn the music down a little? I'm not sure it's at all necessary, if I'm honest; but, if you must, quieter would be preferable. I'm struggling to hear/understand you, at times.
Watching Anya is like listening to classical music for me. It's a cut above the usual and even though you may not know a lot about it you know a lot of effort, and expertise, has been exerted to produce it. Like listening to classical, I always feel like I am better from being exposed to it. Let's blow up this channel
Incroyable, clair net et précis
Fantastic and informative as always
Dear Anya, I love your videos, but please note, with all respect, Vineyard is pronounced vin-yard with a short "i" not vine-yard,
A premier cru like the example in the video from Chambolle-Musigny can be from declassified Grand Cru grapes also. I had ones from Comte Georges de Vogue that can be better compare with other lesser Premier crus from Chambolle.
Not all Grand Crus are equal, I would not touch Clos de Vougeot for example anymore. Don’t chase after Grand Crus, a good producer is more important.
If you are going to spend money on a bottle of Bourgogne (or even a Village), I would look at some new world Pinot instead.
Red Burgundy is the ultimate wine for me, the cost is too high now unfortunately…..
Dial the grease down on those maps… I'm watching at 1080P and can barely read it.
No mention of Beaujolais?
6:16 35 hectoliters per hectare is not a tiny yield, it's a pretty normal yield. The maximum yield allowed in the Chateauneuf du Pape AOC is exactly 35 hectoliters per hectare.
I love your videos, Anya. Very pleasing to watch and I've learned a lot. I find the music (as nice as it is) a bit too loud sometimes.
Anyway, keep up the great work! 👍
New to all these great videos
Very impressed with your clear and precise knowledge that all levels of wine lovers can enjoy.
Anya keep up the great content.
Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Too much ear furniture
I spent many many years travelling down to Burgundy, visiting producers and then travelling back with an overweight car full of wine until Brexit put a stop to all that … happy memories!!
Thanks for another very interesting video.
One wish: Turn down the music. You are much more interesting to listen to!
What language is she speaking? In all seriousness, if I were to speak in Italian in Italy with the same garbled attack on basic phonology as she in English, I'd be labeled as one not worthy a listen.
Otoh. she's a Marielitta (Cha-do-na) who's self entitled to speak Spanglish because that's what's being cuban is all about.
I love Burgundy wines. I love the information Anya is presenting. I love jazz. But: can you please turn the music down? I can barely understand what Anya is saying!
