  1. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these changes , Your feedback will help shape how I create future content.
And don’t worry, the in-depth tutorials and technique lessons aren’t going anywhere, they’ll just live in their own series for clarity.
👇 Let me know what you think in the comments below!

  2. I love your technical videos. Actual cooking is only easy if one has the technique. Do you mind also explaining why you use / prefer certain cooking utensils like whisks 😂

  3. I appreciate your new approach. However, I will miss your recipe introductions, specifically the historical background of the recipe or if it has its own specific story (how was it developed, by whom and so on).

  4. I'm one of those that enjoy both aspects of what you are describing: tutorial (recipe only) and 'lecture' (the techniques). One I use for the everyday cooking, the other I use as a way of relaxing and unwinding after work. Either way, I love and appreciate your work and teachings. Thank you.

  5. For what it's worth Stephane, I would prefer that you don't make this change. I've been a fan for many years and enjoy your videos as they are. All the best

  6. Appreciate your honesty regarding the long, time consuming videos . Looking to straightforward to the point recipes.👍

  7. He is still going to provide all details. Those who need to get recipe description quickly will find this content , while those who like to hear his more detailed descriptions will have that option.

  8. I think this makes sense, the educational and technical bits can be considered a ”mis en place” for the mind, to set you up for success and then the recipe as a helping hand when you are in the kitchen doing the work 🙂

Just make sure you clearly link to technical videos as you refer to them and this should be tip top! And as some others have commented, don’t remove too much of the cultural background and French trivia – I think we all love those bits! Salut!

  9. Great channel. If your recipes – videos get longer and longer, just do Italian recipes. È anche molto più buono. 😂Saluti.

  10. I think that is a very good idea. I sometimes just gave up, as your video's were too long. I do however love the ideas you bring with lovely recipes. If you show the amount of ingredients somewhere on the top of bottom whilst cooking, that saves a lot of time.

  11. Whatever you're doing, I'll keep watching! All your changes sound very reasonable and great, but I love the historical stuff, too. Don't be afraid to drop in the fun history tidbits!

  12. I enjoy your videos as you’ve made them from the beginning, but appreciate your adjusting to viewers who want to get straight into the recipe. There will be the same format for we OG listeners, though? You are an excellent teacher!

  13. Très bonne idée, c'est mieux de faire la difference entre les vidéos tuto et les vidéos recettes

  14. It makes me wonder what YouTube is doing with the algorithm that chooses for us what videos we see. I honestly used to see your new videos straight away. Then I had to actively find them. Now they pop back up on my timeline. Looking at the views on your videos from a year ago, you typically had 3x the views when compared to what I see in the past year. Im not sure it’s how you present, but something YouTube changed.

  15. Great job Stéphane ! You are perfection, profesional, smart, efficient, good mood, enthousiast ❤❤ Crystal Clear

  16. I have learned so much from all of your work and I am grateful for you producing the content. It has radically changed my cooking. Whatever you do, I’m sure it will be fantastic. Here’s to getting over a million subscribers, and to your health and continued success!
