  1. Pot roast
    2-3 lb chuck roast
    1 pack au jus
    4-6 garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups frozen sliced onions
    3/4 cup red wine
    1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 1/2 lb baby or fingerling potatoes
    1 lb baby carrots
Seasoning mix of choice, from below

    Southern seasoning:
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 bay leaves
    1 tbs garlic powder
    1 tbs onion powder
    1 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
    1 tsp black pepper
    Salt, to taste

Rinse chuck roast or simply pat it dry. Put chuck roast in crockpot. Add au jus, fresh garlic, frozen onion, red wine, and beef broth.
Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or on high for 1 hour.
Flip roast. Add washed potatoes and carrots and seasoning mix of choice. Stir well and continue cooking on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, or until beef is tender and potatoes and carrots are softened.
Pull beef apart with tongs. Should fall apart easily when fully cooked.

  2. Pomegranate juice taste good in cooking tho, I love doing it sometimes when I'm feeling fancy

Hope no one attacking me because I'm too lazy to fighting but there is explanation on why I said this

  3. Damn, that looks like peak comfort food right there. And the pomegranate is interesting, I'll have to try that sometime.

  4. Her channel is fantastic! I’m just lazy and completely overstimulated and find she inspires me to cook something anyway. What a great message!

  5. Omg …. This is….. This is fucking game changing. As someone disabled I did NOT KNOW ABOUT HER CHANNEL. This is me discovering this for the first time.

  6. I'm able-bodied (for now, my tourettes is whittling away at my joints and cartilage due to the nature of my tics) but I have trouble with depression and the aftereffects of COVID-19. My energy is sapped most days to where taking care of basic needs has become a difficult chore. Thank you for bringing this channel to my attention, and I'll have to give them a follow

  7. I love a good soup/stew/chowder! My papaw used to make them all the time, esp clam/corn chowder, but almost every time he made soups, he would just vibe it out and add whatever he had/felt could work, and he literally never missed. Soup is so forgiving, you can do anything and it’ll probably be good! Hell, I once just boiled a bunch of sliced onions in some broth (ran out of groceries a few days before payday hehe) and even just that was delicious! 🙂

  8. Hope ur throat feels better buddy! Also, have you ever seen recipes for “Mississippi mud” roasts? It’s kinda similar vibes to this meal but it’s got some pepperoncinis, and/or jarred jalapeños if ya nasty ;), for a bit of vinegary heat. Super yummy and easy crockpot meal! Me and my ma make it as often as we can, can’t get enough of it!

  9. I love frozen veggies because they’re precut without being more expensive like in the produce section.

  10. Oh wow.. I never knew I needed this but I’m going to be saving all of her recipes so I can actually cook for myself. I live in a very inaccessible house and the kitchen is really hard to use as a wheelchair user, so not having to use a stove is very helpful

  11. Pro tip the little potato company potatoes are pre washed and even smaller than fingerlings so they’re bite size

  12. I'm subbed to her! I have a hard time standing for long periods of time, and sometimes have trouble with manual dexterity needed for cutting a lot of prep work, as well as difficulties with long and complicated instructions. Stokes are not nice lol. Her inclusive recipes are so helpful!

  13. What a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. I never even thought about how some people are unable to cook easily due to disability. Im blessed to have not had to think about it. This woman is awesome thank you for spreading her message god bless

  14. Love her mission and her cooking videos, but she’s a rough follow on social media if you don’t enjoy creators to spend a lot of time fighting with other people and putting them on blast constantly and publicly though.

  15. Ooohhhhh yay you found my favorite food content creator 🥰🥰🥰 she is wonderful 💛💛

  16. POM in place of the wine…😮. I never thought of that. I don't like the taste of wine so I always just skip the whole thing.

  17. Love the accessibility. 💛

To help with a sore throat if you have cloves, ginger, lemon & honey you can make an easy herbal tea. Ginger is a natural anti-inflammetory. Cloves are a numbing agent for quick relief. The lemon brings the flavours together & honey adds sweetness.

  18. She mentioned making disability friendly recipes and I almost started crying because it reminded me that my titi Jenni with MS was trying to write a cookbook for other people with disabilities before she passed away. I need to see if my cousins have any of her recipes to share.
