I previously posted about this locally owned bar and restaurant located at the intersection of Main Street and Temple Avenue.
I decided to return to explore a newly crafted menu item.
Before the dish was officially revealed, General Manager Kevin showed me the pizza oven where the new creation was baking and bubbling.
French Onion Pizza:
Combine Lido’s original thin crust pizza with a classic French dish and a newly unique creation is born.
Originally, I was skeptical because I never envisioned integrating a popular soup with a plain cheese pie.
As soon as I took my first bite, my skepticism disappeared in a heartbeat.
The entire pie has more than its fair share of caramelized onions that were simmered in a homemade broth.
The crust is thin and crispy with perfectly golden mozzarella cheese. It was scrumptious down to the last bite.

If you have any food allergies, a gluten free version is also available. This is still decent, but I personally prefer the original gourmet pie.
