“French Onion Soup Recipe” Ingredients:

– 6 Onions Chopped
– 2 Tbls Olive Oil
– 2 Tbls Butter
– Pinch of Sugar

– Salt and Pepper to taste
– 6 slices of toasted french bread

– 2 cups of shredded Jarlsberg cheese

– 10 Cups of Beef Broth

“French Onion Soup Recipe” Directions:
Saute the onions in the olive oil and butter for about 45 minutes. Stirring the onions often. Saute until the onions get to a nice light brown.
Add the beef broth and simmer for 15 minutes.

Place the French Onion Soup in 4 or 5 oven safe bowls leaving about 1/2″ at the top to allow for the french bread and cheese. Add toasted french bread slices to the top of the French onion soup. Next add the shredded Jarlsberg cheese.

Next place the soup bowl on a pan and place under the broiler in the oven for 4 – 6 minutes or until the cheese on top of the french onion soup is bubbly and lightly browned.
