  1. Lincoln 2.0 😅 looking good!
🐈‍⬛ The cat tree doesn’t look that bad………especially when decorated with your darling kitties!! 🐈💕

  2. Always love your trips to Paris. The quartzite sounds beautiful. Was hoping you would have a Foreo discount, I have seen it pop up on other channels but wanted to support you. Your channel is one of my favourites and you deserve way more subscribers- don't forget to hype this channel folks and help it grow.❤

  3. Was the artisan you mentioned Benoit who did Anna and Phillip’s kitchen? If so, yes, yes, yes! He’s brilliant and such a lovely man. Everyone loves him.

  4. OMG I was in central Paris on the 18th (with my dog I might add) and it was quite an experience I had travelled from northern France (I had driven over from London on eurotunnel) and was making a connection through Paris by train to Annecy.
I was incredible nervous as there was police everywhere but like you said it was eerily quiet!!
I wish I had bumped into you two as that would have made my day …..who am I kidding made my year!!!🎉🎉
Am so excited about your kitchen renovation, no doubt it will be fabulous!🤗🤗

  5. After relocating our kitchen to another part of our house right at the beginning of the pandemic I feel I can handle , endure anything. We were lucky because we could still use our old kitchen during this. My biggest fear was not getting it right and having to live with it. As we are 70 now we know this will most likely be our last kitchen reno. No upper cabinets, all drawers and it’s the best. We didn’t want to be bending or digging through cabinets at our age . I totally understand that one can wake up with all sorts of age related changes ,aches and pains but not the face, have to keep the face young. Your kitchen will be wonderful. Thank you for your beautiful photos of Paris I’ve never been and hope to. The kitchen shop wow! Your mom is lucky to be able to go visit you in France. I live across the sound from her. Again I appreciate your kindness and care for all creatures great and small.

  6. And other super fun episode of the thrilling chateau adventures!!! And yes, every thing seems to regress to less and less quality standars… Love and peace to the all extended family❤

  7. you will find that a Good joiner carpenter will do a cheaper job than ikea… and it will be solid timber. We have bought a 40 euro (on fb) solid cherrywood dresser and got the carpenter to box in the machines; make cupboards and make the countertop from our own walnut timber which we felled and milled, and I am in the middle of rubbing down and painting the doors and drawer fronts the same colour.. I have a spice cupboard similar to the one you have pulled out and its painted and lined with woodblock printed japanese paper. I couldn't do without it. Thanks for the vlog, a joy!

  8. Try the Little Greene Distemper paints; perfect for lime plastered walls and amazing paint. I have used it for years..

  9. look at Everhot for the kitchen; it will keep it warm all through the winter. I always have had Aga's which are brilliant in a large house.

  10. 😂Sesame supervising the build while sitting in a very posh chair!
Aww you didnt think the dining room belongs to you😂
Love the cats test driving the cat tree. It looks like they approved.
Your commercials are always the best.
Thanks for showing snippets of your trip to Paris. It’s like we’re right there with you.
    Thanks for a wonderful video

  11. Bonjour Amanda and Lincoln, it seems the kitchen is going to take a while, so a temp kitchen is perfect. I also have a massive cat tree; it's not in the best place but it works. I love seeing Paris, so thanks for that. Love from N.Y.

  12. Compared to some cat trees I've seen this is the easiest on the eye😊 I'm positive the kitchen is going to look spectacular given your taste in decor.

  13. I agree with Lincoln! I experienced the same issues regarding my recent IKEA purchases vs the ones I purchased years ago. It’s not the same; however I hope your temporary kitchen meets your needs in the meantime, until your dream kitchen is finished ❤

  14. Happy cats! You're fortunate – I have had friends put up a cat tree, and their cats wouldn't go anywhere near it!

  15. Lovely video! I enjoy seeing the kitties, your time in Paris, and your kitchen designs. Your kitchen is going to be beautiful! I also love watching your sponsored ads, they are so funny. 😂

  16. At least the cat trees get a LOT of use because of the numerous cats on the premises. They are so cute occupying different parts of it at the same time.

  17. Lincoln sure had enough to say about the IKEA cabinet design and build, but when it came to the cat tree Lincoln is like a cat tree savant, quiet in he's ways. You're both wrong Quartzsite is a town in Arizona on the I – 10, All joking aside that kitchen is going to be Impressive! p.s. How is Guava doing?

  18. When you have time you shoud be able to pimp your cat trees with chateau style designs such as ramparts or pointy towers and gold leaf fleur-de-lis.

  19. I also have a black cat named Mo and a white & red cat named Miss Kitty after the lady on Gunsmoke. Mo loves me but Miss Kitty hates me but loves my husband, they both are so pickey. I can't even imagine having to put in a temporary kitchen in my dinning room, I sure hope it will be worth all the inconvience when you get the new bigger kitchen finished.

  20. Beautiful scenes of Paris, thank you! I don't know if i will ever make it there with health issues but i loved the kitchen store. All of our pricey pot here have alarm tags on them. Love seeing the kitties in there best sunny spots. Yes i also have a cat tree in my dining/kitchen area because i can't do anything without supervision. Can't wait to see the green house get underway. Don't worry you'll get it all finished.

  21. Unfortunately cat trees are a must. We have 4 cats and each one loves a different spot on the 3 trees we have. Make sure they are as high as they can be and they will be happy forever. Your videos are perfect, every time. I love the shots of Paris but my favorites are always of the chateau and the trees and clouds❤❤❤

  22. I would go for Benoit's island counter – not only will it be beautiful, but you will have fun in the process. Loved seeing Paris in the rain.
