I'd like to see less of 20+ foot ceilings. Playing piano in the foyer is going to sound awful due to all of the hard spaces and tall ceilings (listen to the echo in your video). Undertread lights are cool. 3/4 baths should put the shower valve on the opposite wall from the shower head.'t It isn't installed yet, but the rectangular TV above the arched fireplace is going to look terrible and be too high to be useful. Love the views from the kitchen to the outside. In the kitchen, the island seating is on the same side as the refrigerator which kind of destroys the idea of the "kitchen triangle."
I love the upstairs deck with glass. Very nice. I love the look of the basement area but the space housing the pool table is just too small – I hope the house comes with a few half-size cues for playing in that area.
Sounds like a nasty cold, I hope you get well soon!!
I've seen walk-in pantries way bigger than that. I've seen one that was the size of a primary bedroom and bathroom combined.
Sorry I'm out…I'm more into Craftsman and Farmhouse style homes with the big porches!
I really like the hallway that separats the kitchen from the living room
Some nice elements, but too much wasted square footage. The primary is a disappointment for so many reasons.
only thing i would change is its location and acreage
The purple of the library area is so beautiful!
I'm sorry you still sound like your stuffy nose hasn't left. I wish you and your family health and peace.
Sooo did I miss the dining room ?
❤ love it
It has good elements, but with 8,000+ sqft it's very underwhelming. It almost feels like it's trying to be too much all at once. The library sounds great, until you see it's a very small portion of the space (though very nice purple color). I was expecting a lot going upstairs, but was very disappointed with how little there was to offer. All of the downstairs/basement looked and felt more like a business rather than a home. Seems more like a place to show off wealth rather than a place to call your home in my opinion.
3 million and no yard 😂
Nice!
There are actually a lot of problems with that pantry/scullery. 1) there isn't a secondary dishwasher. 2) there's very little staging room around that secondary sink. 3) as you said, there should be a secondary cooktop (though that's not a huge deal breaker) 4) I'd put in a beverage fridge and an undercounted ice maker in there too. 5) I don't see any actual pantry shelves anywhere. I am supposing that all of those uppers are going to filled with dishes, glasses, etc. since there aren't any upper cabinets in the main kitchen. For all of that total space, it's a huge miss for me.
Nice but too masive for me.
I like the driveway along with that spectacular set of windows now love the breezeway. Excellent entrance. I really like the library.
I really like the kitchen and Butler pantry the painting in the master suite above the headboard
HI Tim, hope your cold is getting better!
Nice finishes, but that floor plan is hideous. One of the worst I've ever seen in a luxury home.
Canvass-y…wall…paper…canvas thing. Yep, someone’s on cold medicine…😊 These homes need to give you a hot mug of chicken soup to sip while you tour.when you grabbed the sink in the butler’s pantry while waiting for your brain to say, “sink,” I was like someone put poor Tim to bed!
The modern black casings on all the windows throw me out of the somewhat French art nouveau color palette and vague French elements of architecture coming together. I guess that’s the “eclectic” part.
I didn't see a spice rack in the kitchen. Unacceptable! Tear it down and start all over 😂
What’s with a tiny dining room with an 8000 sq ft house? There is nowhere for people to EAT. So they aren’t having guests for parties?
Too much wasted space in this house. Windows are nice but someone had to get up on a ladder and clean them. Oh I forgot. It’s 3.5 mil so the rich folks can afford to waste space and can afford to pay someone to clean windows.
Not a fan of 2 story family rooms. They get pretty cold.
Sorry Tim, not impressed with Sigma.. sorry you are under the weather..
$3 mil and a golf cart path 20 feet from the primary bedroom window? No thanks.
You got me all excited about the pantry, but what a disappointment. No workable counterspace to prep and when you open the ovens your butt is up against the wall. Where do you store drinking glasses and cups in the kitchen, no uppers in sight near the fridge. And one lonely dishwasher in a kitchen that size? The master suite is a disaster suite and one laundry area for all this square footage and no elevator. if you want to walk down to the kitchen in your pj's there is zero privacy, ever, with those windows out front. The front elevation looks like a garage with an attached house, not the other way around, the backyard is basically non existent and worst of all – it sounds like you are parked on I-31 and you will hear that for the rest of your life 24/7. The basement is depressing and the home has no flow that makes any kind of sense, and all the nice little accent can't make up for that. If I had to say something positive about this house: It is large, but that's about it. Who designs these homes and do they ever imagine living there and doing life there? I can't wrap my head around why someone would be willing to shell out 3mio for this. Hope you feel better soon!
