With a medium yellow color and hints of apple, lemon zest, peach, Greek yogurt, and a touch of hazelnut, can you guess what’s in my glass? The creaminess comes from malolactic fermentation, but there’s no oak. It’s dry and quite fresh and zesty. Oak is rarely used where this wine comes from, and in fact, it’s never used by this producer. Think you know what it is?

No way, I got the variety and region right! I'm brand new to wine, so this is big for me. The lack of legs kinda threw me off at first.
Even from the title I guessed Chardonnay 😂 but, no oak aging threw me off later since in the US (well, Napa and CA In general), chard is often oaked and also higher in alcohol… so, does it not go through oak at all anywhere in France or just in this region? Always sharing something interesting! Thank you Madeline!
When I smell wine I just smell wine, amazing how you know what ingredients there are
Coulda been a Chablis, no?
Anthing Maconnais does substantially differently from Chablis other than being a tad warmer?
Pinot grigio
I just love to watch your videos thank you 🙏
Got the grape!!
