  1. Portuguese person here – There unfortunately is already a big version of the pastel de nata, it's called "Tarte de pastel de nata" translating into custard tart tart😂 try make that😅 it'll probably be a pastel de nata the size of a pizza 😅 anyways love the content keep doing what you're doing ❤

  2. I’m sorry but someone already thought of it there is already pastel da nata ice cream and it’s just absolutely delicious!! You can find it in the better ice cream shops in Portugal.

  3. "Isn't this just a sweet quiche?"

Yes. A quiche is a custard tart made with a savoury custard. That's how it developed, I believe.

  4. if he stop making this useless video and focus to only make big grapes. i am sure we already have the video

  5. Would you say your cooking ability has grown in a noticable measure since you've started cooking on YouTube trying different things?

  6. pastel de nata is soo good I made them for culture week at my high school one time, first time ever making them and they turned out pretty damn good 🤤🤤

  7. I made those once. The only 2 problems i got were that i manipulated the pastry for too long and it didnt get puffy enough and i couldnt get a good temperature point for the oven and they either got too white or when they got as dark as i wanted them they got overcooked. Next time i'll use less lemon but thats a matter for my own taste since everyone else enjoyed them as they were.

  8. Pronunciation is decent and we already do it "but bigger". It's not as popular as the smaller pastéis de nata (or pastéis de Belém) but I've seen it in several bakeries.

  9. About the whole big grape situation, this cooking channel (Mr&Mrs Shi) dropped a tutorial on how to make peelable grape gummies… why don’t you make one of those but huge

  10. I'm Portuguese, your pronunciation is alright, way better than most Americans, the pastel de nata looks decent, try making a cheese cake with it, ice cream would be too sweet, we hate sweets that are too sweet

  11. I've actually traveled to Lisbon and had these from a bakery in the city. I personally didn't fancy them (I'm a little specific about tastes and I'm autistic so texture is a little iffy sometimes) but my dad loved them and Portugal was stunning. 🙂
