Bonjour!
Fall is coming here in Burgundy but everything is still full of life! I am filming the grape harvest of a very special winemaker who works with the lunar cycle and it is so intriguing! I also visited the factory of the famous Dijon gingerbread of Mulot & Petitjean and will be cooking with that. I hope you enjoy this video!

  1. Loved this video. I'm so glad you decided to film the vineyard. That was fascinating. I looked up the ingredients in Pain d’épices to understand what was in the blend. That seemed perfect for your pear tart. Thanks for the video. 🙂

  2. Your French is excellent, I’m trying to refresh mine after not having used it since my 20s. I’m keen on getting your book once it is out ( for the recipes) and to read more about his use of the Moon cycles for the harvest. Glorious vineyard and yummy pear tart, lekker smullen 🍐.

  3. Thank you for a lovely video. This was so interesting and seeing a vineyard and how they operate was so cool. I am looking forward to your second book.

  4. Very interesting visit to the winery. I have always admired vintners. There is an immense amount of knowledge and experience necessary to be successful, and patience and perseverance, with all the factors that could go wrong. I don’t think I would have the patience! Your dessert looks fabulous!

  5. Beautiful vineyard ❤. A wholesome vlog. I enjoyed watching it. Sending vanilla scented dreams your way from The Pixie Tales 🪻

  6. so appreciative of artisans keeping proven methods alive !! a lot to be said about learning from the past= and sometimes modern inventions that might save time and money are not always the producing the best product ( best for us and the land) bravo to his methods

  7. A lovely video Marloes, thank you. Your pear tart looked delicious 😋 could I use plums instead of pears? My tree is full & I need to use them! ☺️

  8. That brought back memories of picking grapes in my youth (it’s hard work)😓 I love anything with pears and that looked delicious 😊

  9. A visit to a biodynamic Pinot noir vineyard is always good to include regardless of the sound 😁 what a joy to be surrounded by that beauty and high quality wine. I like the new apron fabric and your choice of music for the cooking and ending with Olaf and his enjoyment of the tarte. Happy weekend!

  10. The pear pie… yummmmm . Beautiful France. 💚🩵The only place i ever wanted to visit outside the u.s. oh well….. 🙏🍁🍁

  11. This is one of my favourite videos of yours, thank you. But I guess I love all of your videos. They are such an interesting and calming way to escape to France 🙂
