  4. One thing is for sure and that is you shouldn’t call it chocolate croissant, at least that’s what my french teacher told me

  5. I noticed that pain au chocolat has more layers and doesn't have to be folded after it is rolled unlike chocolatine which is folded so it looks more rectangular than pain au chocolat, which looks more square.

  7. It’s basically like an in-joke: it doesn’t really make sense but it resonates if you’re there 😄

  8. As a Berber from Germany: I NEVER heard Chocolatine and i learned French at school and visited Tunisia often, where they make french stuff. Pain Au Chocolat is the only acceptable name.
