It’s pretty hard to mess this one up…

I will admit that this recipe has lots of steps and takes a lot of time, but there are no special chef skills, crazy equipment, or precise measurements involved… and most of the cooking is passive. It’s REALLY hard to mess up, and REALLY easy to make delicious… it just takes time.

The hardest part is the risotto, so if you want to skip that, then the dish is just as impressive with mashed potatoes or regular rice.

RECIPES:
Because this recipe is actually two recipes… the easiest way to access them both in detail is my new website www.triggtube.com

I’m working with @getprovecho and over a hundred other cooking creators to make high-quality, blog-free recipe archive that is all about the food. Check it out, and see if it works for you. There are SO MANY talented cooks on that platform, and you can get access to all of them at once. (Not Sponsored)

But I’m never going to gate-keep recipes on my channel, so if you don’t mind shuffling around and screenshotting recipes one by one, then here are the two detailed and individual recipe posts I made for the Osso buco and Risotto.

  2. Please grind the saffron with a small pestle and mortar;
    You will get a lot more flavour and colour out of the saffron. I recommend using a tiny amount of sugar/salt to the mortar, which helps in properly grinding it down.

    Thanks for the recipe

  3. Been a while since this video’s come around! Still haven’t made it but I know sometime who’ll LOVE this

  4. Yeah it looks disgusting, whoever made this first time should kept that recipe for themselves

  5. the problem for most people when they say that a recipe is hard , is not the execution per se. It's the time investment ….which this recipe has in abundance. So it's not "easy"

  6. Or you could just let the shanks simmer on some wine and broth for a few hours and boil some potato’s chunks and mashup some cream and cheese on them and it’s basically the same with less than half the work

  7. @@TriggTube the cutting the edges trick really made a difference! Such a cool trick to know! Thanks man

  8. I agree regarding to the Osso Buco. But a good Risotto Milanese needs attention from the cook and the right timing to add the stock. You don't want it burnt or uncercooked and with hard rice bits.

  9. Hey bro, me and my friends play a lot of pickle ball and I promise you we sweat sweat more doing pickle ball and then we do in our 10 hour manual labor job. I’m not gonna pretend it’s the hardest game in the world, but you can definitely get a good exercise out of it.
