LOL. Torturing Kramer. The poor baby.
2.00 most Barley goes to whisky production, even imported from England for that purpose 🤗❤️🏴
3.30 porridge is a good staple breakfast diet that gives slow energy release to set you up until the next meal 🤗❤️🏴
Unicorn Tears – https://youtu.be/n0FDtg8m_yA
Nessie Nectar. https://youtu.be/j_KgDc-iE2Y
nobody calls it blood pudding, its called black pudding.
12.45 Rab Ha , ( Haw ) the Glesga ( Glasgow) Glutton 🤗🏴❤️
16.30 do you know how to catch a haggis ? , As it happens a Haggis has a short leg and a long leg and they run around on hills In the one direction , to catch one you only need to cut it off and make it turn around to run the wrong way for them and the short leg is in the wrong side and they fall over and roll down the hill and can be scooped up , 😂🤗❤️🏴
The bee was a wasp. Nationally we be besieged with wasps from mid July and throughout August. Bees we like, wasps we don't 😂
Fish and Chips from Fife, Cod is better than Haddock. Porridge the Scottish way is rank, oats with water and salt, no thanks. Milk, Honey and blueberries.
We will be there in eight days. Great video
Wasps everywhere…checks out! They really do get everywhere!! You said Rab Ha's perfectly! I think it's whisky sauce you have with your Haggis. 1901 is the real original Irn Bru – the "original" had its recipe altered when our government brought in a new sugar tax, and a lot of us can't stand the new original (other people think they taste the same). I do however love 1901, as well as Irn Bru Extra
Really Enjoying this series folks ! – You are spot on with understanding British food and its cold wet climate. (You were also served breakfast with a beef square sausage patty that is local to an Edinburgh Breakfast). For Scotland – I would have also included Tunnocks tea cakes and caramel wafers. Also to get the real vibe in the UK I would try Tea (Teatleys, Yorkshire or PG) with milk and a little sugar. Then – you can try different biscuits (cookies) with your tea. Also if you check out the Lake District – try Grasmere gingerbread (Really good) and kendal mint cake. There's a lot of quirky regional English foods in different areas – like a Bedfordshire clanger and Newcastle stottie cake (like a dinner plate sized English muffin). Also when you return to the UK I would really recommend Cornwall which has its own weird sort of magical vibe (does take effort to get past the touristy stuff – Many recommendations for that ! You've done John 'O' Groats so you could do Land's End (TIP park in the next village and walk along the coast to it), also as foodies I would have to suggest 'the hidden hut' at Portscatho. . . .
Irn bru taste like irn bru..iv been drinking it all my life..and it's unique in every way..irn bru/Scotland the only country where coca cola isn't number 1…coca cola is 2nd..😂😂😂
Don't be fooled. Scotch Egg is not Scottish. Black pudding is common across most of Europe. Full English/Scottish/Irish breakfasts are all very similar. But why did you not try Arbroath Smokies?
Nice shot of Yesbaby at 27.59 , I'm hoping you made it across to Orkney and there is a video coming soon?
Are those Irn Bru's beer or non alcoholic sodas?
My God, what a big baby! You never even tasted the turnip (neeps)!
There is only 3 types, regular, original and extra
The “Extra” cans are just the same, different names, Nessie and unicorn, no sugar, all artificial sweetener
The 1901 is the original (full sugar)
The current regular (1) is low sugar
You ruined it by having 1 first
should have went 2, 1 then 3 or 4 as they are both identical, and they should have been ice chilled
Scotch eggs aren't Scottish.
It's BLACK Pudding for the hundredth time porridge is Oats just Oats .and water or milk .
Where were you eating in Glasgow? The soup and haggis? Name and address?
Oooh…. Traditional currant scones! You must try 😋
"use what you have" because some other bugger has taken all the good stuff. welcome to colonisation.
Not cheap, affordable ! 😉🏴
I love that people who are not from Scotland try to compare IrnBru to something else. IrnBru tastes like IrnBru and nothing else
Just a wee heads up. If you scotch any food stuff you take it from very hot to very cold. These eggs are fab but they have zero to do with Scotland ! X
Deep fried haggis in batter? From a chippy.
heh heh, I like the size of the wee dram in your thumbnail!
We have Walmart, it's called ASDA
I hated the unicorn tears but Nessie nectar is really nice.
Next time you visit, be sure to try cock-a-leekie soup, it's food of the gods!
(no, it's not a joke, google it if you don't believe me!)
Please don’t support BrewDog. Their owner is a terrible person: a liar, a cheat, and even investigated for sexual misconduct in the work place. They built their brand by tricking people through repeated crowdfunding campaigns, making them believe they were becoming shareholders. Yes, you technically get shares, but they’re useless, you can’t sell them or get your money back. So, you've basically lost your money.
They've also trademarked the word Punk in association with beer and have used their vast wealth to unfairly sue many small businesses for using it.
Tip of the iceberg stuff, there's loads more. So, please don't buy their beer, they're awful people.
Please tell me the wee dug got a piece of sausage roll or Scotch pie off camera? p.s. 'westy sauce'? I think you might have misheard, most likely it was whisky sauce.
Unicorn Tears is rhubarb and custard flavour. It is based on a popular traditional sweet/candy in the UK. Its pretty good in my opinion and is sugar free which to me is a bonus
The Brew Dog guys used to have a TV show where they brewed odd beer (they did one Brew in a Scottish loch)
Porridge is made from ROLLED OATS.
BLACK pudding !! There's NO sausage in it !
Scotch pie with baked beans on the top .
Great video next time you're in Scotland (God country) you must try homemade Scottish tablet, Scottish macaroon, homemade Scotch Broth and Stovies, just a few things to try. Next time you're in Scotland give me a shout and I'll be happy to make some of these for you.
It’s sticky toffee pudding and an old refrigerated Scotch Egg is not a good representation. You need a fresh one.
Fun fact Scotch eggs were not invented in Scotland
Also that wasn’t a bee in your porridge, it was a wasp
Asda sell a version of Clootie Dumpling which is ok but not that good
For the best Clootie Dumpling it is best to make your own
But there in lies another quandary. What is the best recipe. I would recommend using several different recipes and try them all until you find the one you like the best
Arbroath smokies, Tunnocks Teacakes, Tunnocks Caramel Wafers and Caramel Logs
How can you go to Glasgow and not try Chicken Tikka Massala? Shish Mahal restaurant in Glasgow (nr Kelvinbridge) claims to have invented it.
When you were in the chip shop you should have bought a single haggis and single black pudding to go with your fish supper. The chip shop versions are the ultimate puddings.
Is Chris also Arthur Weasley in another life???
Anyway, the square sausage you enjoyed is also called Lorne sausage (named after the region of Lorne in Argyll).
Tennants lager is….. minging, far better local ales from the different Scottish regions.
I know this is a serious food tour, but I laugh out loud every time you share Kramer's thoughts on screen. Yes, Kramer, you're beautiful!
What do the parents do? Nothing!
