This week I’m feeling a little flat — so I head out in search of Paris, hidden in London 🇫🇷🇬🇧
We start slow: a soft get-ready, then a wander through French corners of the city. There’s wine tasting at Top Cuvée, a visit to the Institut Français, and a very French smashburger at Dumbo in East London 🍷🍔
Back home, we wind down with Yorkshire Tea, a little catch-up, and a nostalgic treat: LU Le Petit Biscotte 🍪

I went to London in 1989 and saw all the typical sights. Plus… There was a wedding at Westminster Abbey, we had to wait to tour but we saw Prince Charles and Princess Diana leaving in their limo! We never would have imagined that would happen!

There used to be a great place owned by people from the American South right next door to my flat in Fulham, but they ended up closing 😢 I loved that place—was a little taste of home. Crunchy all the way – Lu are the archetypal French biscuit! I don't know how get notified of your polls!! I'm in deepest Somerset (the original English version). More Google suggestions: L’Etranger Restaurant & Les Vins de L’Etranger, (pricey) 36 Gloucester Road, London SW7 4QT (French/Japanese fusion), and Brasserie Zédel (reasonable, and amazing classic French decor apparently…) 20 Sherwood Street, London W1F 7ED. Ok, comment, take 2 (and much more brief) : If it's a nice day, and Pierre Victoire has it's awning down and cafe tables outside, that looks like a chill hang. There's no lovely views to be had, but it's got a certain charm to it – and the food looks divine – more of a bistro vibe. Honestly, i'm up for any where you take us! I find interest and contentment in nearly everything.
