The Perfect French Fries 😍

Soak Idaho Potatoes 4-24 hours in a cold plunge.

Pat the dry and fry them at 325F for 4-5 minutes.
As the fries rest on a rack finish the rest of the batches.
Crank the heat to 375F and fry for another 3-4 minutes or until Golden like me!

I use peanut oil to deep Fry everything.

  2. Pro tip. Boil them instead of double frying. Freeze them in a wire rack for a couple hours till they are nice and firm. Then fry at 350. They will be healthier then double fry as you’re cutting down the saturated fats. They will come out just as crispy as well.

  4. Nobody has 2 hours to let fries sit in ice water so how long realistically should you leave them sitting in ice water?

  7. After the first fry I usually put them into boxes and freeze, so I don’t have to wait so long everytime I want fries.
