This Maple syrup French Toast is a real weekend treat!

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
¾ cup half and half
¼ tsp fresh grated nutmeg
8 slices of your favourite bread
Butter for frying

Method:
Whisk together eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, half & half, and nutmeg.
Pour egg mixture into an 8×8 or larger baking dish, and dunk / soak the bread slices.
Pre-heat a fry pan to med-high, and melt in the butter.
Fry the bread slices 3-4 minutes per side or until golden crispy.
Serve with more maple syrup.
