Pommes Boulangere are a favourite of ours, Martine. But I do like to bake them in the oven until all of the stock has been absorbed, and the top layer of spuds has browned/crisped up. Yours look delicious, too👍.
Lovely cooking video Martine my mother sometimes made this as a side for a roast dinner but it was done in the oven so it was more cooked down and the potatoes crisp she also introduced me to Dauphinoise Potatoes which are similar but cooked in cream and cheese and they were brilliant with lamb or reheated for tea before bed another Potatoe dish she would make was German I think Bratkartoffeln which worked brilliant as the potato part of a full breakfast way before hash browns appeared 👍👍🥔🥔🧅🧅
