  1. Truly, your market still life is art, but then so is the entire vlog–perhaps because that is your aspiration for living life and our hope, that some of the beauty and inspiration will rub off on us.

Nice moment with you, Julie, thank you so much. Always such a pleasant market, lovely welcome from the wine seller (a rosé when it's hot is a good tip), and a top picnic in the shade ("à la fraîche" meaning "in the cool"). Please don't be too upset, but the second cheese is spelled with two 'S's — 'époiSSe' — and is pronounced as such. There are several cheeses that are part of the 'Blue' category; the most well-known are Roquefort (made from organic sheep's milk), Bleu d'Auvergne (cow's milk), and Fourme d'Ambert (cow's milk). While rosé wine is best enjoyed chilled, or even very cold, we prefer to keep the bottle in the fridge rather than adding ice cubes to the glass, especially with a bottle that truly deserves it (many rosés aren't worth it). Once again, thank you for sharing these 'French-style' moments with your American audience. I hope your stay in Sommieres went well and that you'll share a video about it.🙏

  4. hello very nice video…tu devrais manger l'Epoisses a la fin, c'est le plus fort…have a good day and enjoy the fireworks et " Le Bal populaire " tonight

  5. I’m exactly the same when I go to farmer’s markets. I plan on getting only the few things on my list and leave with so much more. I can’t resist all of fresh produce, breads, and other food items. I justify it by the fact I’m supporting the local small businesses. Thank you for another fabulous video. You truly are living the dream life❤️ Also, I loved the baguette language lesson while you were eating😊

  6. Congratz!! As someone who also took the plunge back in April to move from the US to Nice. Aren't French markets amazing!? Your French however is WAY better than mine!

  7. You should make a calendar of your photos from the market food for next year. They are lovely. It would also make really nice gifts for friends or family.

  8. This feels like a love letter to life itself. ✨
From the market stroll to the quiet garden picnic, every moment breathes calm and joy. Thank you for reminding us that slowing down isn’t giving up — it’s choosing presence. 💛
Your journey is so inspiring. I hope one day I’ll also sit in a quiet French garden with a baguette, some cheese… and a heart full of peace.

  9. How do I find an apartment like you. I’m dying to get out of USA and move to France . I’d spend my day exactly the same . But probably just baguette, cheese , wine maybe some veggies

  10. You are practically a native with that chic provencial skirt. Im curious if this move has helped reverse your burnout?

  17. Yep! This is all very nice, but a Picknick is about sharing a meal at the fresh air with other people. Eating all alone in front of a camera, even in a beautiful place like that, is pretty useless and sad—-somehow.

  18. Well this brings to mind three memorable French picnics. In an olive grove below the walls of Les Baux de Provence. Just downstream from the Pont du Gard. Behind a random winery just up the hill from some Roman ruins with the smell of wild rosemary. All wonderful. Thanks for the reminder.

  19. Famous YouTuber already being interviewed by other Youtubers . For meat maybe look at ventes directed a la ferme for better prices and selection boxes of different cuts. Try kayaking Gorges de l Ardeche after summer crowds
