We Live In An $835K French Chateau—And Turned It Into A B&B

I like the decor before more but I bet they renovate for a reason and made it more functional!
like the care taker mindset
that's what happens when americans and their crass lack of taste touch anything. turning a historical marvel into a sanatorium devoid of its original warmth and color. and they call it "a phase" 8:53 …soul crushingly bland.
You are definitely living the dream. Good on you.
Living the dream 1.1 million buying in Ballsack France.
I'm retired at 47, This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to having over 65,000 biweekly profit, a honest partner and a good daughter full of love ❤
Well done, the renovation cost is extremely low considering the great result!
Bravo guys 😂
Welcome to FRANCE 🇫🇷
people who say that before was better really like living in second hand furniture stores 🤣🤣🤣
How did you get the work done? French laborers are notoriously unreliable. Lots of people move to France with big dreams, but they can’t get reliable workers.
It is simply amazing how the renovation has transformed the ancient castle into a completely charming and comfortable place to live and relax. I admire the excellent taste of the owners of this historical place and sincerely envy the guests of this paradise on earth. And as far as I understand, the guests can not only enjoy life in the castle, but also communicate with the numerous and friendly animals that live there. Once again, I express my complete admiration! Bravo!
I've been in the market since 2024 and have made a total of $795,000 from my $65,000 invested in Bitcoin, ETFs, and other dividend income. I'm very grateful for all the information and knowledge you've provided me, Isabella Teixeira.
I'm sorry.. In the garden, at 1:30, he picks a leaf off a plant and eats – but is that not just a weed?? 😂
I preferred the before look in the living spaces but the new kitchens and bathrooms are nicely done.
Only 1.1???
turned out great
You're doing well Sir, Ma'am.
Every time i see white wall I cry
comme ont dit en France la décoration est au goût du jour ,félicitation pour tout votre travail
I love what you guys have done with the renovations. It looks beautiful!
If a middle class American can buy a Chateau then I am sure American businessmen can buy even few villages, own up few thousand peasants and live like some medieval aristocrats in France 😅
I won’t pay to stay inside something that looks like modern American home, I want original heritage looks. They’ve ruined the place 😒🤦🏻♂️
Can you imagine there was families in 13th century living in that place. I wonder what their life and day was like…!! could they have imagined a thousand years later, their would be people with camera and smart phone walking around their house….. fascinating
What a delight.
I can’t believe the property taxes. We’re paying almost $12k/yr in an ordinary house in Michigan.
The price of a SF flat can probably buy the whole village and make yourself a lord.
wow, it is so cheap.. 1.1 million for a chateau? here, you get a small 2 bedroom house.. (SF)
Every bit of colour has been stripped out of this Château – it’s now very white and has lost a lot of his character. No longer looks French.
🌿🌸👍🌿
I'm planning to retire at 59 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life and good healthcare. Greed has eaten up those in our economic sectors making lives of the average Americans difficult. Mr. president seems to be myopic about how to better the country and seemingly peaks interest in war topics. Taxes are heavy on the middle class while the billionaires evade this taxes. some are even given tax cuts. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but l'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with my KarenBayfield my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible
Does anyone also think that the interior (except for the kitchen) looked better before the renovation?
😅 I can't help but remember the series about Ghost in different eras where they open a bed and breakfast
Bravo! Beautiful renovation – and very inspiring to see them moving to another country (continent) and renovating a castle! I wish them all the best.
i've stayed in a few chateaus not nearly as nice as this one.
Do they have a you tube channel?
they did a great job with the renovations. great taste.
Imagine if all the boomers sold their homes and moved back to Europe? lol. Just hoarding all the homes and wealth.
They want factory reset? 😮😮😮
These people have no sense of style. A whole lot of money but can't hire an interior designer? Yikes! 😬🤷♂
Amazing Renovation!
In American terms the French are making it seem like they moved to the equivalent of Alabama lol
I would love to live in France…but their taxes are horrible.
The before was so cool though 😭
Bal-sac lol
I'd totally do this. I love France.
4 1/2 grand for six nights pretty rich. The French aren’t paying that kind of money for for six nights in the country.
A lovely way to preserve design, architecture and workmanship of the past.
Awesome. Im curious do you use solar energy, knowing how expensive the electricity is also in France? You could decrease our monthly costs!
