Welcome back to the grand finale of my 4-part series exploring New York City’s most acclaimed fine dining restaurants.
In this episode, I visit Per Se, Thomas Keller’s legendary three Michelin-starred restaurant perched above Columbus Circle. Known for its elegant service, French-influenced tasting menus, and sweeping views over Central Park, Per Se remains one of the most iconic dining experiences in NYC.
Join me for a $1400 meal featuring 14 official courses — but with all the additions and surprises, I was served 27 plates of food in total. From signature classics to refined seasonal creations, this was fine dining taken to the extreme.

Per Se made me fall in love with fine dining, thank you for sharing what the most extensive tasting menu looked like! Excellent video as usual
Ah yes, the Evolution Menu!!! When I celebrated my birthday at The French Laundry a few months ago, it was the only option for us as it was not only a marathon meal like the days of old, filled to the brim with all the luxury ingredients you want, but the cuisine was what I was craving, the classic dishes, like what you would see people like Anthony Bourdain having when they went to the restaurant. Amazing, still the best meal that I have ever had. And the somm set us up with a marvelous custom wine pairing in addition to the 1989 Chave Hermitage I have been holding specifically for that night, six hours, just incredible in every way🤩 I mean, when I tell you I can still taste the Oysters & Pearls to this day…just wow, blows my mind😅
Lucky boy! Thanks for an incredible review!
00:35 Of course, how could I have missed it?! Björn Frantzén is also a part of that list and currently the only chef with three restaurants holding 3 Michelin stars each. An oversight on my part.
Has anyone here been to all three of his spots? Would love to hear your thoughts on how they compare.
Wishing everyone an amazing weekend!
New subby here ☺️ 💕
i have been watching you for a very long time, good videos! you deserve more subscribers!
Good effort Ari. That is a lot of food.
New to your channel, Ari
Excellent review and videography – good luck expanding your channel through great food and fine wine!
Perfection plated. 🍴Fine dining at this level turns every trip into a masterpiece. Truly inspiring!✨
Great video. They are getting better lately for sure and I'm glad that you are upping the attire too.
It’s pronounced “Shrams-borg. Rhymes with tram. Also annoying is the use of quotation marks around words like satay or ragout on the menu. Uncalled for.
i’m commenting because I actually enjoy that solid critiquing and the descriptive judgment versus quick clickbait fodder. I ranked this review pretty high as one of my favorites next to how Alexander the guest reviews places
Thank you for eating so I don't have to.
i wish there were more exposure for the food than his face.
Pretentious wankery.
I enjoyed your video very much. I was surprised however, at the end when you mention (as if it was odd of them to notify you)that staff don't want to be filmed. As a professional, you should know to clear that with each restaurant when you book the table (or at least when you check in) Maybe it's a cultural thing, but you should respect the servers & staff and not assume they are cool with being recorded for your content.
Awwww poor posh baby has to pick up cutlery from the wrong side. Wahhhhhhh, you twat.
youre gaining subs congrats
'viscous' rather than 'viscuous'
After spending $1000+ I’d leave there still hungry. What a rip off.
