Surprise! I found a few extra minutes of footage from my Wednesday market visit in Uzès – a few more market shots, buying local honey, unpacking my bag, and staring out the window in reverence and disbelief at my beautiful courtyard view.

This quick bonus clip gives you a more personal peek into the day…unscripted, real, and very South of France.

If you saw the original market walk, this is the missing piece 🍯🧺
If not, you can watch the full market video here:

🛍 What I bought: honey, giant spinach (not chard), lettuce, strawberries
📍 Where: Uzès, South of France
🎥 Type: Bonus vlog, market life in France

  1. And we all thought you were in Paris! 🤔
Nice without the blurring. Again those drool inducing strawberries. But variety of honey. I especially like the fir tree and Bruyere honey.
    (smart sales person).
    Nice without all the blurring.

  2. Absolutely love your videos. Normally, I live 4 months per year in either the suburbs of Montpellier or Eygalieres in the alpilles in Provence. By the way Uzes is in languedoc not Provence. The rhone is the demarcation. Keep the videos coming !!

  3. I must say Uzes wet my appetite. Now watching the 'Walking Tours and Road Trips' channel. Amazing atmosphere. Like Peillon. Very cloak and dagger.
Considering watching 'A Good Year' tonight. For the umpteenth time. Ridley Scott is one of may favourite directors.

  4. There’s a movie script here, stressed woman from big city moves to a small town in south of France to heal and slowly experiences the small town life friendships and intrigues.

  5. I love the church bells. The Presbyterian Church rings on the hour on the town park. So pretty. Hope you had lots of fun in Pari.

  6. Your French is Perfect, Julie!!! Use that honey with French butter for breakfast. That sigh at the end, it’s your mind sinking in that you made to France and now it is your going to be your new home..

  7. Nice video. Hope I can ask some questions 🙂 Did y more alone without knowing anyone in this area? Work on distance? I’m planning to retire in France but must learn som French

  8. Be careful with honey. That guy has way too much variety to be a local producer. Accacia honey doesn't come from France !!! Read the labels carefully for the actual origin of the honey. Also, only the accacia honey doesn't harden. ALL others will soiner of later harden. If the honey is liquid, it's either it was harvested the day before or was boiled. If boiled, it won't harden but it's un unfair treatment for any honey.

Seek for a seller that sells only very few different honey types. Ask him where he sets his beehives. Chestnut honey is very strong, quite bitter. Must try a bit first. There aren't many places where chesnuts grow in France (Ardèche, Var, Limousin ..). By ONLY locally harvested honey
