Bonjour!
It’s summer here in Burgundy and it’s been very warm and dry. We’re getting some rain finally, but it turned into a pretty bad storm during the night. I am taking you along on my simple and quiet days here in the countryside of France. I hope you are enjoying your summer!
Sending so much love and thank you so much for being here!

How delightful, everyone home and cozy during a rain storm – even the cat!
Absolutely sublime…I’m having a glass of cremant de Bourgogne so I’m there in spirit 😅enjoy the weekend 😊
beautiful i love your video it make me very happy thank you
Bel video👏👏👏
Buona serata !😘
Bonjour, I am writing from a chilly southern hemisphere where we celebrated the winter solstice. Beautiful video with the easy rhythm of summer. My appreciation to you 👏
Such a beautiful video! Your home and gardens should be photographed for a magazine! Love your style ❤
Always so lovely where you are. I'm with you on wanting to relax more. We don't always have to be accomplishing huge things–sometimes the small, simple, day-to-day tasks are enough. they certainly have their own beauty.
Beautiful, again. Love seeing the images from Beaune. The carousel and the rooftops and especially Hotel Le Cep. We’ve stayed there three times over the years. Wonderful memories.
Salt was considered so valuable that it was used as a form of currency. It's the root word origin of "salary."
Lovely video. Thank you for the bit of history. I love that kind of thing!
Lovely as always! I always admire your wardrobe. Today's green dress is so pretty, also love the brown one! Can you share links for your clothing? I don't usually leave comments because I watch on internet TV which doesn't have a comment section. But I watch every single video and always enjoy your aesthetic and appreciate your beautiful sharing!
PS – I'm moving to France in 5 days!!
Marloes, how can you put so much beauty in one video! It all breathes the peace and calm we crave for…Iove these types of videos.Jam season here it is! Thank you
Were those fresh currants from the garden I wish you would have spent more time describing it a lot of people have never seen fresh currents if that's in fact what they were😊
LOVE hummingbirds moths! funny it began to rain HERE in Arkansas just as it did in your video ha ha
I love these kinds of stories about antique items, thank you for sharing.
Such a lovely, relaxing video and what a feast for the eyes. By the way, your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
Best French countryside videos on YT. You do such a lovely job. 🌿🌸🌿
Super interesting story about the bench. Salt used to be used as currency at some points in history. It's also hot here in my part of the world …and stormy. Lovely video as always.
Marloes, me encanta tu cocina, hermosa 👌
So tranquil and relaxing, berries and rain to boot. Thank you Marloes 🙏❤️
I liked the collage of different places, scenes and villages. ❣
Thank you ❤the scenery from the country to the city is beautiful, how nice to make the jam from your fruit!❤
It was lovely as ever. Thank you ! ❤❤❤
Nothing sounds more wonderful than heavy rain in summer.
I see you boil your jam jars to sterilise. I put mine in a 100C oven for about 30 minutes. I know the frustration of trying to pick up jam jars with tongs!!
The bench is perfect for the cottage!,and what an interesting story! Thank you for sharing it.🌹
The crocheted catcurtain stole my heart!😍
OH how I adore the wee hummingbird moths ….the first time I came upon one flitting around my garden, I watched in amazement at this adorable little creature . But what was it ?….after a little google search I had my answer . The hummingbird moth !!!! They are like little fairies buzzing about ! Thank you for sharing it in your video ! Learning about them encouraged me to dedicate part of my yard and gardens to the bees, birds , butterflies and all the beautiful pollinators . What a way to start my 2 month summer holiday , a coffee , a freshly baked cinnamon bun and your wonderful video ! I must confess that sometimes when I see your video pop up I don't watch it right away , believe me it takes all my willpower , I wait until just the right time where I can relax with a cup of coffee or tea , put my feet up and fully enjoy the moment . Often I watch them a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything > Thank you for the glimpse into your charmed life ! Cherryl from Canada
Silly me, but I don’t know what kind of berries those are. And it looks like you guys don’t have to do water bath canning in France? That is so refreshing! In the US everything is so “regulated”.
