I would give France a lot better score if it was involved in WWIII… But then again, everyone would become a looser. But their modern military is one of the finest, if not the finest, in Europe. It is not like the pre-WWII era, where they really had a dysfunctional military due to a lot of compounding issues.
Overall, France is a country that has done pretty well in combat. It would not be such a major nation in Europe if it had not. It has had its defeats, for sure. But it just a myth that they surrender the first chance they get. Even during WWII a Free France continue to fight. Beyond all the partisans. Yes. They were a winner of WWII. Even if large parts of France were either occupied or part of the Vichy puppet government.
I realy Dislike how France is always joked about loosing in WWII. Yes sure the nation did, but the French resistance keept fighting till the end of the war. Also one might want to add that Frances war history is mutch more then just WWI & WWII with an overall high number of wars Won. Best example france fought from 1870- till the outbreak of WWII 28 back to back (minor) wars, winning 25 of them.

The french resistance was the third largest fighting force on the allied side of ww2. France was occupied, not defeated. They literally won the war.
This makes me sad not because I've had every U.S. mre but because if ww3 does happen I have friends who would surely die

Russia does it right… their MREs are purchased by me, monthly. Im full blooded Italian but their food is to die for.. literally speaking.
