  1. I'll do ya one better. Spray them down with some olive oil (they do make it in a spray can these days, or you can put olive oil in a spritzer if you like), about 5 minutes into it, before, and after the first shake. They'll get much crisper without burning them.

  2. 20 minutes is way too much, you burnt them, 15 minutes max is what they recommend, maybe even less. And you can increase the temperature as well to compensate a bit.
