Super Germany is always a fun nation in Victoria 3 and it’s also super overpowered. Alongside that, it’s relatively easy to actually make assuming you follow a few simple steps.

This video is intended for relatively new players looking for a showcase of how to play Prussia in the early game, alongside a look at what you can do with the power of Germany later on in the game.

The first half is a proper guide explaining how to form Super Germany and the steps to take for it, while the second half is a more narrative experience, as we take Super Germany to new heights.

I hope the video helps you! Thank you, and enjoy.

  1. 31:00 i was playing as transvaal (conquered oranje and gaza and stole nort cape from south africa) and made the tools and weapons company. To get the prestige tools i needed to be top 3 producer (wich was 13k at the time). Since i inly used about 1k i slapped on subsidies for export and started building. In the end i was the only exporter in the world with an export of around 18k tools😂

  2. One thing Vic 3 does wrong when it comes to global trade is that it equates that people = economy.
While yes, large population in the West means large economy, but it is not like that historically in other parts of the world. Ref shipping history during the "age of sails", to keep it simple. There were a ton of shipping companies that thought Africa would become the next big boom because there was a allot of people there. Yet that did not happen, in large context is still not happening. I get that Vic 3 is a game and such needs rules, but it is actually a myth, often a capitalistic one, that allot of people equals booming economy.

  3. I would love to see this Sipepr Germany carried over to HOI4. I wonder what the Austrian Painter would do with this Germany

  4. The prestige engines also boosts áll rurap buildings of they use the prestige good.. 😅 its insane

  5. Unless there was a change, good transfers in treaties does (or can) benefit your budget. Britain is paying you their market price, but you are paying your mines your market price. You can compare the two in the budget under diplo pacts. They aren't necessarily the same

  6. You know theres a state interaction (same page as change capital) that swaps all PM's in a state to the most commonly used PM right? You dont need to go into your buildings and manually change it all every conquest 😂😂

"Thousands of Galicians Arrive in Galicia—Discover It’s the Wrong One"
Mass Migration Blunder Leaves Spanish Migrants Shocked by Pierogi, Not Paella

Berlin – A curious case of cartographic confusion has emerged this week as tens of thousands of hopeful Spanish Galicians arrived in the once Austrian Partition of Poland, declaring their intent to “return to Galicia.”
Upon realizing the region was not sun-kissed Spain but instead a damp stretch of Eastern Europe nestled between Kraków and Lviv, one migrant was heard muttering – “this doesn’t look like Santiago de Compostela… and where is the wine?”. Others were witnessed saying – "they keep serving me borscht. I don’t even know what a beet is.", and “I asked for flamenco and got folk dancing in woolen vests. Dios mío, where even are we?”

Officials remain baffled, cartographers are being investigated, and the Polish locals are reportedly just as confused.

  8. If you are a new player and don't know how deficit spending works, here are a few key pointers:
    – You can borrow money from buildings in your own country. That's what happens when you run out of gold reserves and start going into debt.
    – The maximum amount of money you can be in debt before having to declare bankruptcy is the total amount of money reserves of all your buildings, and those buildings don't have to actually be profitable and have money stored in them, so in practice you can increase your max debt by borrowing money from buildings (going into debt) to build more building to be able to go more into debt. Still, you want your building to be profitable most of the time, since unprofitable privately owned buildings will down-size automatically, while, in profitable ones, building owners will invest their own money into building more building via the private queue.
    – The cost of going into debt are interests, which you can see under your expenses. The more debt you have, the more interest you have to pay, which can easily spiral out of control and make you go bankrupt if you're not careful about it.
    – The interest rate (how much interest you have to pay) is determined by several factors like technology, economic law (LF gives -25%), IG bonuses (usually from PB being happy and it's doubled if they are powerful – have above 20% clout, or once had and had not gone below 18% since), and your country's rank, as all GPs get a major discount of -50%, Major Powers get -25%, etc.

What it all means in practice is that it's a powerful way of having nigh infinite money as a GP (you can even reach -100% loan interest rate as GB with their unique PB, which you want to be powerful anyway if you have Charles Dickens in government, making debt essentially free), but the lower your country's rank, the less effective it is, and you should pay attention to your debt, since once you have interests to pay, the only way to get out of it is to go full bankrupt, or get out of debt in some other way. Then again, Vic3 is all about snowballing economically, and the money you have stored up in gold reserves (unless it's a buffer to pay for an upcoming war you are about to start or something) is money that you could have invested in your economy to make it pay dividends sooner, so even if you don't want to go full deficit spending, you should try to manage your finances to stay just below 0 gold reserves at all times, both by spending more (ideally by building more levels of profitable buildings) and by taxing your people less (the money you take from your people is money they can't spend to increase their SoL which influences the social class they belong to, and the consumer goods they buy, increasing demands for products you make in your factories – though it's more of a concern in the mid to late game).

  9. i had the private construction bug, and it seemed to resolve itself when I changed laws from lazzaiz faire to interventionism for some reason

  10. "my partner" brother, just sit in the chair already, how cringe.

She is either your girlfriend or your wife.

  11. I fell asleep during the video and I dreamt of spontaneously combusting silk on a ship. While rewatching the video I realized it was actually your partner suggesting my dreams.

  12. Hunnen Korps would be a mean name for the expeditionary force, inspired by the Hun speech Kaiser Willy gave in 1900 before sending off the lads to quell the Boxers 😅

  13. 12:22 you start with mil access thru Hannover. So you dont need Mecklenburg. Its even detrimental as it creates 2 fronts as you can see at the timestamp because Denkmark uses the other mil access against you.

  14. Thats the problema of this lame military system, you cant even simulate the attrition of invading trough another country

  15. As for fashion: based on historical experience, it is the colonizers who usually adopt elements of the clothing of the colonized, among the latter, the reverse happens only with the ruling class. So I would venture to guess that in this version of history, Italian tailors discovered Chinese traditional silk fabrics and ornaments. I like to imagine that the 1870s in Europe would have represented an absolutely acid explosion of colors, a-la the 1970s in real history.

  16. Good Video although I have to say I'm slightly disappointed you didn't form the EU/Central Europe when you had that massive country

  17. There are 3 of us playing a coop game, France, Belgium, and Ottomans. France wants Belgium to just only build in France, not the Ottomans at all. His reason is that he doesn't want France money to help fund the Ottomans even though it's the belgium private sectors that are building it. Can some explain to me how it is a bad idea to deny the belgium investment rights

  18. You are missing a couple of things. First of all, the unification should be due to the Franco-Prussian War and Elsass-Lothringen should be annexed. The unification needs to include ALL German territories including Krakow and Switzerland. With Krakow, you can wait until the Austrians decide to annex it, and with Switzerland, you should just annex it. Second of all, the Kaiser should remain in power as the Kaiserreich is the only true government for Germany, period. The Kaiser IS the head of state, no one else. If you have all of that, then you are close to perfection, all you need is the historical colonies, and to annex Bosnia and Herzegovina, then you have perfection.
