Here’s a quick, one-minute look at my veranda (balcony) cruise ship cabin aboard the Viking Eir. I cruised the Rhine River with Viking, starting in Basel, Switzerland, and going through Germany, France and The Netherlands before ending in Amsterdam.
This is a veranda cabin on deck three, located in the center of the ship for a smooth sail. It’s a compact hotel room with a desk and writing area, a nice bed, closet space and a surprisingly nice bathroom. There’s also a balcony with two chairs and a small table. It was great to sit outside, sip on our wine and watch the world go by.
