I think you are forgetting to mention two key components of the drop in alcohol consumption. 1) Weed (marijuana) and 2) GLP1 drugs like Ozempic that reducing cravings for food, sugars, alcohol, and drugs. I wish them all success as we could all use a lot less drunk drivers on the road.
Non alcoholic wine is grape juice.
More is missing from the wine than "the buzz." Also missing is the related impacts on an individual and society from its overuse and abuse such as cognitive impairment, emotional instability, increased healthcare expenses, lost productivity, legal costs, increased crime, drunk driving accidents, child abuse, neglect, intimate partner violence, etc. Everything is OK in moderation but there is a high price to pay from overconsumption. This is a positive trend I think.

I always give my mother wine when she is in a bad mood, works better than most medicine, red wine is best 🍷 like the gentleman in the video said, it is like a therapy. Young people have so many options to reduce stress like playing computer games that oldies like us don't have, so we still drink alcohollic wine
I don't like non-alcoholic wines by themselves, mixed with a little bit of grape juice and the red wines become a lot more palatable

6:43 Reporter says: "I personally found their non-alcoholic wines more aromatic and sweeter than regular wines" – Ever heard about port-wine, sherry, Malaga, Marsala, ice-wine, etc. , etc? I don't think so. Also "sweet" with wine is😊😊 just a style, a way of elaboration. It doesn't say anything about its quality. Not even, whether it is more or less palatable, since a lot of people rightly prefer dry wines, specifically with their meals.
This is such a revelation. Wine alcohol free is a great option not just for people trying to recover from alcoholism or for those whom want to reduce their alcohol consumption, but also for those like myself that have been through tongue or throat cancer and due to chemo and radio, alcohol is restricted or even banned for life. Since I've been in remission the joy of having a meal with wine has been missed.
Well if theya re going to make grape juice. Count on the French to make it the best.

I've never tried non-alcoholic wine and am willing to give it a shot. I've tried non-alcoholic beer, it's horrible!

Correction: The correct surname of the winemaker of Vignobles Raguenot is Miller not Pierre – Emmanuelle Miller.
One of the key thing everyone seems to be missing is that the wine is de-alcoholized in Germany, which is roughly 1000 km from Bordeaux, where the grapes are harvested. It may not seem far away fr a US citizen for instance, bu in Europe, that is a massive distance. Once de-alcoholized, they add sugar or grape must (which is the reason why they're sweeter) to make up for the lack of texture resulting from the process, then they also add natural (or not) aromas to make up for the loss of aromas in the process. You end up with a processed drink produced in Germany, shipped back to Bordeaux, to be exported again (I'm sure they export to Germany), and they want you to believe it's crafted by winemakers in France. And it tastes bad. There is absolutely no logic in any of this.
