  1. Foie Gras is disgusting. The unethical part aside, if you're gonna put SO much effort into making something, at least make sure that thing actually tastes good. Foie Gras is an abomination.

  2. Omg thats the funniest thing I’ve heard for long time, the way it was explained gave me tears from laughter 😂

  3. It s just not how foie gras is done. First of all, ducks and goose are migration animals and they’re used va to overfeed to b prepare for long trip.

  4. After I found out that Icelanders found out a poisonous shark wasn't poisonous after it rotted because the poison decomposed to pee, it is quite hard for other cuisines to top that in my mind.

  5. I felt that way after discovering where sweetbreads came from.
But it's delicious in pomegranate gastrique and a fabulous 2008 Sancerre

  6. Next tell them about chapon… You take a young rooster, then you castrate it, and you blind it…ok nevrrmind😅

  7. Frogs are not any more “weird” than chicken or cows.
The messed-up part is the force-feeding. And the worst part is that it doesn’t actually taste good. It is just one of those pretentious “fancy” foods that are super-nasty, like caviar and oysters, where somehow no matter how many you tried, if you don’t like it, you ALWAYS just haven’t tried “good” ones yet. Nevermind that the more “good” they are, the worse they are! Like pretentious smelly cheeses too, to be frank. ^^
