프랑스, 美 IT기업 1년간 디지털세 보류키로
France and the U.S. have agreed to call a truce in their tax dispute,… with both sides deciding to hold off on digital taxation and retaliatory tariffs.
French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said on Wednesday that he agreed with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in Davos that France will not impose digital tax on American IT companies this year.
In response, Mnuchin agreed to suspend plans to impose retaliatory tariffs on French goods.
However, the French minister added that they failed to agree on how they’re going to rewrite decades-old cross-border tax rules.
