I see the gradual acceptance by Americans that thicker-cut chips and roasted potatoes offer more flavour (and preparation options) than thin fries. Just tasting a potato with both fluffy and crispy textures does so much more than all the sauces
Too chunky for me, I like traditional classic french fries (the ones we do in France and Belgium). If I want something bigger, I go for British roast potatoes.
