This is how you can make the best french fries ever

  1. Oh Heston. You give us recipes that we can start and our grand children can finish and enjoy.

  2. (For any North Americans:
Remember, "chips" means something different in Brittain or wherever, so that's why the comments seem a little strange.)
    Hope I got that right!

  3. 19 time that i ask u to make "pennette alla vodka" an italian dish popular in the early 70's in italy

  4. I see the gradual acceptance by Americans that thicker-cut chips and roasted potatoes offer more flavour (and preparation options) than thin fries. Just tasting a potato with both fluffy and crispy textures does so much more than all the sauces

  5. Too chunky for me, I like traditional classic french fries (the ones we do in France and Belgium). If I want something bigger, I go for British roast potatoes.

  6. You should say what potatoes you use, the ingredients are the real star of any dish
