Day 9:s route:
The 9th day of my Bicycle Tour of Provence turned out to be on the the best day. The nice wether returned and the scenic route I took was spectacular. I cycled through the cities of Frejus, Cannes and Antibes. Saw the famous steps with the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival building. But the best thing about the day was to cycle along the fantastic coastline between Frejus and Cannes. The Massif de l’Esterel.
The day ended with me trying to find an open campground for two hours in the dark. I finally found one in Antibes, where I had to negotiate my way in plus pay 20 Euros to sleep on the ground. Crazy!
