Got a long layover at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris? ✈️ We had a 4-hour window between flights and decided to make the most delicious use of our time – by eating our way through Terminal 2! 🇫🇷
Here’s how we turned our CDG layover into a French foodie experience 👇
🍽️ Stop 1: I Love Paris by Guy Martin
We kicked things off with a sit-down meal at this stylish restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin. Yes, it’s inside the airport… and yes, it’s legit!
Here’s what we ordered:
Continental Breakfast – A full spread featuring:
🥖 2 warm mini baguettes
🍳 Soft scrambled eggs
🍞 Thick-cut French toast with a hint of vanilla
☕ Coffee with cream
🍊 Fresh-squeezed orange juice
It was the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and classic French café vibes – all without leaving the airport.
🥐 Stop 2: Les Halles – The Pastry Market
You know we couldn’t fly out of Paris without trying some iconic French pastries!
At this upscale pastry market, we grabbed:
Pain au Chocolat – Buttery, flaky, and filled with gooey dark chocolate.
Flan Pâtissier – A silky-smooth French custard tart with a rich vanilla flavor and caramelized top.
💺 Whether you’re just passing through or stuck on a long layover, CDG has legit food options if you know where to look. These two spots delivered that authentic French flavor and gave us a little taste of Paris without ever leaving the terminal!
