UPDATE: Finally got my hands on Miyoko's vegan butter (thanks to everyone who told me it's available at Trader Joe's!) and I think it would work phenomenally in this recipe! I haven't tested it directly with croissants, but a batch of chocolate chip cookies I just made with it came out beautifully. By far my new favorite as it is palm oil-free!

Great recipe and it comes up very well when the instructions are followed ,and we have been doing variations such as putting marzipan for almond croissants and chocolate and marzipan for pain au chocolates.

Good to see you are still going strong on here, so many videos I find are on abandoned channels. Sadly in the UK Vegan/WFPB options like 'butter' are very limited but the recipe looks easy enough and I make my own cherry jam (I have a tree!)
So just a note, when you’re putting out information for all kinds of people maybe not including a blasphemous song of Kanye West claiming to be God would be better. I really like your recipe, your style, your simplified information, and then the outro song. Which I get it, he is talking about croissants, maybe cut it there because you will actually have ALOT of Christians that will watch this video as my denomination is vegan and we are world wide and grow by over one million people every year. Just a suggestion.

Tried them with coconut milk and they taste exactly like the non vegan ones I ate before being vegan.
they didn't really turn out good for me, it tasted just like sweet dough not even close to anything like croissants…i am a terrible baker🥲 but yours looks absolutely amazing!!!! i will keep on trying to make them with your recipe and hopefully someday it will look just as yours💓💓
tip: don't over knead your dough or else you'll kill your yeast…that's what happened with mine but its okay it was my first time 🙁
Hey, how long would it take to hand knead the dough? I've been going for about 30 minutes now and it still isn't elastic😅

Used this recipe for puff pastry dough to make a traditional (dutch) Sinterklaas banquet rod because the store ran out of the vegan ones.
My mom ended up liking mine more than the non vegan one. I swear this recipe is amazing also for other types of puff pastry

When I tried this the butter just came through the lamination so didn't stay in its own separate layer. I chilled for 30 mins in-between each step but it still happened. Is my butter too soft or hard perhaps or did I do something wrong

A question about baking times: The video says 10 minutes at 400F plus 12-15 minutes at 350F, but the recipe on your website says 5 minutes at 400F plus 20-25 minutes at 350F. Which version is correct?
I don’t care if croissants and vegan croissants taste the same, there is no bad thing about consuming croissants that have animal products in it
