  1. That spoon goes on top of the glass of Absinthe, and you put a sugar cube on the spoon and drip water on the sugar cube to dilute the Absinthe. It's a lot smoother

  2. Let me guess: "Validate our parking" comes from the fact that after the second shot you're no longer fit to drive?

  3. Spoon is for a sugar cube, you put the spoon on top of the glass, place the sugar cube on top of the spoon and pour the abseninth over the sugar into the glass

  4. I would love to see Doka Ryan actually try Absinthe the way it is supposed to be prepared, with the water drip and the sugar on the spoon.

  5. Put the spoon over your glass, pour approx. 2 ounces of absinthe in the glass. Put a sugar cube or two on top of the spoon. (Optionally pour some absinthe over the sugar cubes and set ablaze for presentation and a warm serving). Then, begin to pour some filtered water over the sugar cubes until the fire is put out and the cubes are disolved. Once dissolved; stir and serve! Cheers

  6. You cannot review absente without pouring the drink the way it was meant to be poured. Review invalid. Slow down do your research bub😂

  7. Honestly the bigger brother of it (Grande Absente) has a better flavor profile straight. Having some diluted sugar cube definitely helps. I went to a place called Vom Fass, only place I've ever seen that had a multi-spigot pitcher, so you could do multiple glasses of absinthe at once, so I did try a couple different bottles.

  8. Funny thing… I like star anise and fennel which have a flavor close to but not licorice. I HATE licorice. I love Absinthe. You don't taste licorice. Absinthe is a star anise flavored liqueur.

  9. That spoon is if you have a absinthe despenser, you pour the liquor in the despenser and put the spoon over a absinthe cup. Take a sugar cube and put it on the spoon and drip the absinthe onto the cube until it desolves.

  10. The spoon is for the sugar cube. Put the spoon over the glass and pour the Absinthe over the sugar cube and through the spoon. Then eat the cube, and sip the Absinthe. Absinthe is made from wormwood.
