Recipe (Serves 4):

3T butter
3T flour
500ml beef or veal broth
300ml red wine

In a saucepan, melt your butter over medium heat and add the flour. Cook until golden brown.

Slowly add the broth, and then the wine. Simmer, and reduce by half.

Serve on steak
