In this episode we explore the region of Northern Rhone and try a Rhone White Wine to find out ‘what makes them special’. Jancis Robinson recommended to try wines from Jean Louis Chave in Saint-Joseph and having tried it we can understand why! We try a 2021 Jean Louis Chave Saint-Joseph Circa Blanc, Rhone Valley, FRANCE ($97 from Five Way Cellars). Burnt caramel, ripe peaches, chantilly cream, honeycomb. YUM!

White wines from Northern Rhone feel like a forgotten wine but they can be so good – complex and elegant. Not cheap by any means, but well worth experiencing for anyone who really likes white wine.
If you haven't, you should try the white CdP as well – can be delicious (but expensive…..). Great episode as usual boys.
Thank you 🙏 We’re definitely keen to try more Rhone in general, but definitely a white CDP is on the list. Any that you recommend?
