Having just wrapped up 8 years living in Toronto, there's lots to love in the city but the food scene definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Often times so overpriced, so much of the "same", soooooo many crowds. Of course there are some gems, just like every city, but to say that Toronto outdoes Paris on food is just…biased and wrong.
I went to Paris when I was 14 only for like 3 days but my favorite and most memorable part was when we had a picnic at a park near Versailles. I didn’t love Paris as I’m American and most people just had a rude demeanor towards us not to mention the streets smelled like cigarettes and pee but I still had some amazing experiences. Also this was like 13 years ago so I’m sure it has changed some over the years
In Europe we eat a lot of raw meat and no one ever gets sick… maybe something to do with our cows? I dunno it's just so common that it makes NA look like the weird ones.
Whoa that is wild, La Côte ou la Cuisse used to be Oh Puree! one of my fav spots. Recognized the interior immediately. If it’s the same chef then the food is no doubt delicious

They serve pret a manger at A&W in Canada I think
I need a Toronto food series!!
You were definitely having macarons! Macaroons are little pastries/cookies with shredded coconut in them 😊

Just wanted to say that macaroons and macarons are different dishes not different pronunciations.
You feel like you have the best food in Toronto?? You must be joking. Toronto is a kingdom of blandness.
